Basic Preschool

Learning through structure, creativity, and confidence building

The Early Preschool Program at Yachad Kids Academy is thoughtfully designed for three-year-olds who are ready to explore structured learning in a nurturing and engaging environment. We focus on building independence, social skills, and early academic foundations while supporting each child’s unique development.

Curriculum & Learning

Our hands-on, theme-based curriculum introduces essential early learning concepts through play and guided activities:
• Early literacy and vocabulary development
• Letter awareness and pre-writing skills
• Numbers, counting, colors, and shapes
• Creative arts, music, and storytelling
• Social-emotional growth and communication

Children strengthen focus, curiosity, and problem-solving skills while enjoying a positive classroom atmosphere.

Daily Routine & Classroom Structure

As children grow throughout the year, our classroom structure supports:
• Consistent daily routines
• Group participation and teamwork
• Listening skills and following directions
• Growing independence and responsibility

Low teacher-to-child ratios allow for individualized attention and meaningful connections.

Meals, Rest & Potty Learning

• Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks provided daily
• Rest time on individual cots in accordance with Illinois licensing regulations
• Potty training supported in partnership with families
• Parents provide diapers, wipes, or pull-ups as needed

Enrichment & Movement

Children enjoy daily physical activity, outdoor play (weather permitting), and music experiences that build coordination, confidence, and self-expression. Throughout the year, we include special art, cultural, and seasonal events that enrich learning.

Preparing for Preschool & Pre-K

Our program helps children develop strong routines, early academic readiness, and social confidence — preparing them successfully for the next stage of learning.

At Yachad Kids Academy, we are proud to provide high-quality early childhood education in a warm, community-centered environment.
